Behind the WorkBench

My name is Lorena, and I am an independent goldsmith based on the island of Ærø, Denmark.

My journey has taken me from my own goldsmith workshop in Germany, which I ran for seven years, to a place where life moves at a gentler pace and where there is room for presence, craftsmanship, and creativity. In 2024, I moved to Denmark with my family to begin a new chapter.

I am a trained goldsmith with additional specialized training in gemstone setting, which allows me to bring a deeper level of precision and detail to my work. Inspired by nature and organic shapes, I create pieces that blend modern and classic elements, with thoughtful details that add character while preserving a sense of balance.

Sustainability is an important part of my work, and I especially value reworking and reusing existing materials to give them new life.

What I love most about my work is creating jewelry that becomes part of someone’s life, whether it marks a special occasion, holds a personal meaning, or is simply worn and cherished every day.
